Group Details For Tuesday 6 (S)milers Walking Group
Group Description :
A "Tuesday" walking group, known as the "Tuesday 6 (S)milers" are looking for new members.
Why not join our Friendly Sociable walking group.
We walk between 5.5 and 6.0 miles each week at a "leisurely" pace.
There is NO obligation to be a walk leader at any time, ( you can if you want) as we have 5/6 very competent volunteers.
We meet at a local Pub at 9.45am, to order lunch (not compulsory). Walks start at 10.00am and concluded at approx 12.30pm, when we then socialise over the ordered lunch, and generally put the world to right.
We regularly update our walking schedule every few months which offers varied locations throughout the year.
We always hold a Christmas lunch for walkers and partners. The last few years it has been at the "Admiral Wells" at Holme. This has been a particular success, so we are keen to continue this annual event.
