Leave the 21st century behind for the day and experience sights, sounds, smells, and tastes of the Black Country as you explore rebuilt and recreated shops, houses and industrial workshops.
There’s plenty for everyone to get stuck into. Why not head deep underground in our drift mine or listen to toe-tapping vinyl? There’s something for all ages and special memories to be made!
We want all of our visitors to have a fabulous day out at the Museum and we’re working hard to make our site as accessible as possible. Read our Access Guide at bclm.com/visit/access to plan your visit. There are a variety of cafés, pubs and shops around the Museum for you to pick up something to eat or drink while you are enjoying your visit.
Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are available. We try to cater to all dietary requirements; if you have a specific allergy or dietary requirement, please speak to one of our Food and Drink Team before purchasing.
Visitors are also welcome to bring their own picnic to enjoy in the designated outdoor areas of the Museum. Each picnic area has accessible benches available
It is also possible to experience a trip on a barge through the tunnel and cavern network that was used to transport limestone during the Industrial Revolution. The trip takes 45 minutes leaving every 30 minutes. Cost on the day is £14 or can be pre-booked at dctt.org.uk for £13
